SEA OUTING with Friends

We went out to sea in Clay's yacht Sunday to spread ashes of Clay's client's pet's. It was a nice ceremonial goodbye to man's best friends . The weather was cold and the ocean was rough but the company was awesome!

Dinner at DHIO SIAM

After Universal Studios Joy, Ariana, and I went to Kristica’s (Joel’s girlfriend) parent’s Thai restaurant. DHIO SIAM, Thai dishes, is about 15 minutes from Disneyland. The food was delicious and the service was great. Ariana ordered the special of the day; the dish consisted of shrimps, scallop, and avocado in a red curry sauce. We loved it, can’t wait to go back and try some of their other dishes.

the Ladys photos

Some of Joy and Ariana's photos since they been taking the photography classes using the SLR's camera - all photos are taking in manual mode only and no photo shop.

Ariana setup her guess focus distance to capture this bird for a sharp image but with a slow shutter for motion.

Painting with a Point & Shoot camera

Ever since I've signed up my wife Joy and my daughter Ariana in Rod's Enough is Enough they have been using my SLRs. They're really enjoying the class and getting excited in taking pictures. So I've been using a Canon PowerShot TX1 that I bought for Ariana (again with a little help from our friend Tony). I can only adjust the shutter and ISO in manual mode, but using grads and NDs in Rod's 101 it makes it more interesting.

Not photoshop, the camera can shoot B&W with an accented color
