Last Sunday Joy and the kids wanted to see Disney's Christmas lights.

Andy's 50th Birthday

It was a surprise over-the-hill birthday party on the evening of November 30th. Many of Andy's friends and family came early for the big event. Clay and Marguerite took Andy and Debbie to a restaurant near by for a distraction dinner, then stopped by Earl's house for a little night cap. Andy looked very surprised when he opened the door. Andy was even more surprized when he opened Clay's gift which was full of tricks he dressed Andy with. The gag gift was so funny and entertaining for all, that the whole house was in an uproar of laughter. A special thanks to Clay, Marguerite, Earl, Susan and Danica for setting up this memorable occasion.

Flower and fruit

I've been taking several evening classes lately on photoshop, going manual mode for SLR camera, and going to a camera club with Joy. I really enjoyed the manual mode class, I learned a lot on photography techniques.

Pictures of my fall flowers in bloom. The look-a-like Kiwi inside is an Asian fruit, grown by Larry's next door called the dragon fruit, it taste like a light melon with poppy seeds.

Fallbrook Fire " the White house was burnt"

Here's some pictures of our thanksgiving dinner last year at the White house (Joy's brother). Larry, Michelle, and their family were camping the weekend the San Diego fire's broke out, unfortunately theirs was one that was lost. Their neighbors and friends got their cars and a few laptop computers out, but the cats were too scared and we know one perished for sure. They have been blessed with a furnished place to stay ( through the church) until the rebuild is complete. Volunteers and others have been rallying to get them back onto their property which when complete they can call home. Kudo's to Neck (OK-Richard) for helping with the clean-up and also my cousins Vic Aguilar and his second hand man Tony Cacho for designing their new home /castle. We are still requesting prayers for the White family and all San Diego county fire victims....in Jesus we pray....

Soledad and Daniel's 36th Wedding Anniversary

Ate Soly and Kuya Danny celebrated their renewal of marriage vows at the Our Mother of Confidence, a Catholic Church on October 20, 2007. It was done in a Filipino traditional wedding ceremony. Part of the ceremony includes attaching a veil over the couple's shoulders symbolizing being clothed as one. A white cord is placed around the couple's neck which represents their eternal bond. The bride and groom each bring a lit candle to a larger candle to light together for unity. Lastly, the groom gives thirteen coins to his bride blessed by the priest for a life of faithfulness and prosperity.
We thank Ate Soly and Kuya Danny for their love and commitment to each other for 36 years. They are an inspiration to us all. Their wedding planner was their niece Madelyne Conley. Her mom was their original wedding planner they both did an amazing job. It was an awesome renewal of wedding vows / family reunion. We partyed all night, even after the live band left. The dinner was a tasty lobster & filet mignon, served with a amazing fruit- ice cream dessert, and the wedding cake was superb!
