Today is Joel's Birthday

Joel is going to college at UCSD, he's majoring in biology hoping to become a pharmacists. He's 21 and he likes to scuba dive, snowboard, go fishing and jet skiing, etc...
Just got back from Anthony's Fish Grotto for some oyster shooters to celebrate his b'day.

Happy Birthday Mom

Mom was born October 11th, 1928. The family had a tribute to her life (surprise b-day party on Sept 27th). She was surprised! All her sons and daughters were there including most of their spouses and some of her grandchildren. Mom got to hear what she meant to us, how much we love her and how grateful we are to her for raising us with love. It was her son Dan's real birthday that day. We love you Mom, happy 79! Lorena and Tony's Wedding

My niece was married on Sept 8th in Mission Bay Park, the weather was perfect. Her parents, my cousin Nancy and her husband Larry came from Indiana to celebrate their daughter Lorena and her new husband Tony's new life together. It was a beautiful Hawaiian style wedding as well as an awesome family reunion. Click here wedding photo gallery link.

Dad's belated birthday

Dad's birthday was last Friday the 21st, he's 86 years old. We just got back from Moabi Park our once a year river trip. Dad doesn't like to go out much any more, due to his illness. He loves going places with his 1979 Mercedes 450SL Roadster to the stores, to Jack-in-a-Box for hamburgers, or to the gas station for a lotto ticket which is only less than a block away.

Today is Lisa's birthday

We went to visit Lisa and David in Illinois on the 1st week of July this year 2007. They found a camping spot for us that was only 10 minutes away from their place. It had pond and we were happy campers because we all love to fish. They showed us Champaign and surrounding areas, we had fun. We are so proud of our professor teaching at the University of Illinois in Champaign Urban. Today is her birthday, Happy Birthday dear Lisa, we miss her and can't wait to see her again. Love and kisses.

Today is my nephew, my brother Alex's son's 20th birthday. He's quite the "actor/model" a handsome young man. Happy Birthday Miles!

A day with Mom at the Del Mar Horse Racing Track. Some lose, some break even, and some win like Neil and Andy. We all really didn't care about winning, we just wanted to be with mom and have fun.

My mom is 82 years old today, she going to the casino tomorrow to celebrate with Leilani and Jay. Mom gets pretty lucky sometimes. She still going strong, even though she has some health issues. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! love and kisses.

A wedding reception for Jesselle & Daniel

A family gathering to celebrate Jesselle & Daniel's wedding vows Hawaiian style. They were married on Feb 26, 2007. The reception was at Daniel's mom and dad's house because Daniel is in the service and it's hard to get time off. It was great to see my aunts, uncles, and cousins from my moms side again, it's been a long time. The Filipino food was delicious as always . Click HERE to link you to my photo gallery.

Rebecca & Shahin's wedding

The Aghd- Persian style wedding ceremony was so cool, I have never seen anything like it. The bride and groom sat in front of a table that contained food and traditional items that have meaning about sharing in their new life together, such as gold coins, apples, flatbread, honey, etc about 16 items altogether. The large mirror symbolizes light & brightness in their future. The decorated eggs, walnuts, almonds, and hazelnuts symbolizes fertility.
The Persian food and desserts were awesome, very tasty and delicious! The reception was very lively everyone loved dancing. The photos are in this link click it R&S wedding.

Miria and Steven's shower and wedding pictures

Ariana and I took these picture of the wedding in Wy and the shower was at Chris's house in San Diego . Blaine's awesome picture of the wedding are on his photo blog.
The wedding took place in Michelle's grandmother old country estate were the horses roam and the sunsets are beautiful.

Day at Sea World

We took the newly weds my 1st cousin Daniel and his wife Jesselle to Sea World Monday - they went in for free because he's in the service and that's so cool. Leilani and Daniel hanged out a lot when he's in town visiting his parents. Lisa Wood bought us a season pass with her discount because she was in the coast guard and I think this is are 4th time to go. The last time we went was with Michelle and Larry, my Canon 30D camera was stolen that day when we were eating lunch - DON'T CRACK YOUR WINDOWS OPEN THEY CAN STILL GET IN.
Sorry I haven't been updating my blog - I been very busy catching up with work, we just got back on another vacation - Wyoming for Miria & Steven's wedding, Illinois to visit Lisa & David, and New Mexico to visit Ellin & John. Tomorrow we're leaving to Gilroy for a garlic festival that Neil told Joy about this a couple weeks ago, he was shock that we got a hotel because it's a pretty big event - so stay tune for more updates like breaking down with our new RV.
