Buckingham Palace is only open to the public two months each year when the Queen is on holiday. Our timing was just right! The inside was amazing, the collection of paintings and art works were awesome, No photos were allow inside, darn.

Back from Britain and Ireland

Joy, Nancy, Frank and I just got back from "The Best of Britain and Ireland" tour we took for two weeks Our Holiday or vacation as we call, it was quite lovely. The weather was the best the country side has seen all season. Anniversarys and a Birthday on Aug 4th

Nancy, Frank, Joy and I celebrated our 36th with our best friends 37th together at the Mortons Steakhouse yesterday. Ariana was born on our 17th wedding anniversary, "my present to Joy" ha! Joy's sister Therese and Mark also had their 30th anniversary yesterday.

The first time I saw Joy was when she transferred into my English class the last semester of our senior year. She wanted to be with her best friend, Denise, who lived across the street from me. I still remember what she wore that first day, a mid-calf length sexy black dress with tiny red flowers and brown high heel granny boots. Joy has that wild light brown curly hair with other attributes that drove me crazy. I ask her to go to the prom with me by using my hippy surfer dude cartoon drawings, I didn't know that she was an artist (and she accepted). Joy told me later that she could tell I had the "hots" for her.
